Software Engineer 6 Months 45 per hour Gloucestershire

We have a client based in the Gloucestershire area looking to recruit a Senior Software Engineer to join a small multi disciplined engineering team. Focussed on safety critical/ high integrity embedded software, the successful candidate will be experienced in developing embedded software solutions predominantly in C with C++ a bonus.

Essential skills required:

• 32bit processors, especially ARM
• Deep understanding of RTOS fundamentals for embedded systems.
• Communication stacks USB, TCP, UDP, FTP, CAN.
• UML design.
• Full safety critical life cycle experience for at least 3 successful embedded developments. Ideally working to EN 61508 or DO 178B.
• Previous experience working within an ISO approved environment.
• Understanding of the purpose for Requirements/Change/Configuration management.
• Knowledge of electronics

Any experience of the following will be highly advantageous for the role UML design experience with the Telelogic Rhapsody Tool Requirements management per with Telelogic DOORS Testing experience with LDRA Testbench JAVA, Microsoft Visual C++ VHDL/FPGA design
