This challenging role will involve working as a Business Analyst applying business needs to technical applications. The Business Analyst will be the business facing side of IT, performing a relationship management role with the business & proactively ensuring that business requirements & solutions are clearly defined, specified & understood by all parties. In addition this role will involve responsibility for collating & articulating business requirements to IT and mentoring & developing Junior Business Analysts. As part of the BA role you will also be involved in solution design to provide technical input when eliciting and subsequently documenting requirements.
To be considered for the post you will have a proven track record as a Business Analyst. You will also have the following skills / experience:
*Experienced Business Analyst with SDLC experience.
*Stakeholder management (internal and 3rd party vendor management).
*Process analysis and design.
*Availability to travel internationally for business.
*Outstanding customer relationship management skills.
*Ability to coach and mentor other lower level business systems analysts.
*Ability to support prototyping activities that will validate business requirements and solution definition.
*Client facing requirement gathering. (Workshops / Feasibility studies).
*Experience working with 3rd party vendors and offshore development and test teams.
*Financial Services experience is beneficial.
*International experience is beneficial.
This role will involve international travel. Personally you will be a disciplined thinker and capable of working across organizational boundaries in a very demanding, high-output environment. You will have outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Must be pro-active, adaptable and results driven. You will be a team player who must be able to work under pressure, juggle multiple projects, using own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision.
