Parallel Consulting are recruiting on behalf of an exciting & global mobile solution start-up, who are looking for an enthusiastic & confident Business Coordinator to join them at their central London HQ.
This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate with 2 - 3 years of experience in a fast paced client facing environment, who has a keen interest in mobile applications.
CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START WORK WITHIN 14 DAYS TIME.
The right candidate will be persistent, organised & able to coordinate the day to date operational aspects of all technical projects & liaise with clients across a range of up to 50 multi-stream projects. You will arrange regular meetings, take notes, follow up on action points & be responsible for driving issues forward in a coordinated way.
A background in IT is desirable but not necessary; a passion for all things mobile is essential & knowledge of process such as Agile & Scrum will be very useful.
Responsibilities:
*Maintain a detailed project schedule across all technology projects.
*Gather input from the relevant teams & / or departments as appropriate in order to develop & maintain schedules.
*Plan project progress, defining success criteria, sub goals, milestones & tasks, time & resource planning.
*Liaise with clients in person & over the phone.
*Monitor project progress & success, assessing risks & hazards to the success of the projects, taking appropriate measures for avoidance.
*Ensure coordination of the interfaces of all disciplines within technology.
*Responsible for tracking project changes & progress, producing regular updated schedules.
Job requirements:
*c. 2 years' experience in a Project Coordination, Business Analyst, or similar, role within a technology & / or mobile focused organisation.
*Ability to communicate clearly with a range of clients & technical personnel
*Ability to interpret & discuss requirements with clients & colleagues to develop & support new systems requirements.
*Strong communications skills & confidence speaking with clients over the phone & in person.
*Ability to multitask & coordinate complex projects across multiple technical teams & deliver multiple projects simultaneously to demanding delivery timescales.
*Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
