Business Development Manager - Northern UK.

Job Overview:

To successfully execute the Platform development of Passenger Car, Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Performance Products sales, in line with the UK business plan into the Northern UK territory, the successful applicant will need to closely co-ordinate his/her activities with the respective Country Manager.

Primary focus will be on accelerating the growth of Valvoline sales across all platforms directly into the various channel markets. The role will incorporate direct selling activity, delivery of sales/technical training/demonstration as required, successful execution of marketing programs, together with coordinating the activity of our internal business sales support operation based at our UK facility at Birkenhead.

Primary Function:

* Perform sales, training and technical support operations in Northern UK territory.
* Apply standard concepts, practices & techniques and directly contribute to the achievement of all identified performance targets.
* Develop Platform sales directly into all Channels.
* Co-ordinate the internal sales support operation into providing best practical support to enhance overall performance across the Channels.
* Sell Valvoline product directly into channel users in line with the published price list valid at the time.

The most significant challenges are:

* Engage new and existing direct channel partners into the use of Valvoline products and services.
* Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the Valvoline Direct Installer and Retail network at all levels within the region.
* Grow the Overall Volume, Revenue and Operating profit generation from direct sales of Valvoline products and services into the region.
* Demonstrate and sell the superior value proposition of the Valvoline product range.
* Successfully implement all sales and marketing programs in line with company policy and expectations.
* Organize and execute training/demonstration seminars for clients as required.
