- Provide detailed architecture, physical data models and patterns for specific projects
- Ensure that the appropriate design patterns and standards are used in BI Platform developments.
- Working closely with Global Architecture & Standards to establish technical governance around architectural issues.
- Provide ownership of the application code base and own physical designs
- Mentor development team and help address complex problems

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Architecture track record (3+ years) in the large scale BI implementations
- 7+ years experience of full software development lifecycle including:
--Design and implementation of enterprise scale BI architectures -- 5+ years of SQL Server Development (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS) -- Design and implementation of Portals, Web applications and platforms -- BI Tools and systems especially Microsoft BI Stack -- OO Software design and UML -- Data modelling -- .Net development (C#, ASP.Net )
- Leading/guiding development teams (onshore and offshore) through design to implementation
- Defining and applying coding best practise (coding standards, source control, continuous integration etc)
- Conducting code and design quality reviews
- Estimation and sizing of large BI and other development projects
