Organisation active in the multi-utility industry requires a CAD Technician in Kent on a permanent basis.

The CAD Designer will be responsible for production of drawings from Electrical Design Engineers, ensuring these are done in line with company policies and CDM regulations.

Duties:
- The CAD Technician will carry out drawings for substations and other electrical utilities.
- Liaison with engineers and contractors regarding engineering drawings and offer support during the assurance and audit process.

The CAD Technician must be able to create, open, edit and close 2D CAD drawings. Furthermore, the CAD Designer should be an advanced user of CAD packages with the ability to use features such as cells, locks, snaps, tags, levels, references, sheets, models, level symbology, patterns, dimensions and scanned images.

Previous experience working on electrical infrastructure is required and the CAD Technician should be a strong user of Microsoft Office applications, with an appreciation of substation and utilities design.
