We're currently recruiting for the vacancy of CARDIAC SENIOR SCRUB PRACTITIONER on behalf of a prestigious Hospital in the Oxfordshire region.

CARDIAC SENIOR SCRUB PRACTITIONER


DUTIES
* Working as a Theatre Practitioner, to provide peri-operative care to patients undergoing Cardiac surgery according to the individual surgical needs of the patient.
* Preparation of the surgical field prior to the procedure, and strict maintenance of sterility,
* Ensure the safe positioning and transfer of patients within the department,
* Handling instruments and providing full assistance to the surgeon throughout the procedure,
* Responsible for accounting of all disposable and non-disposable instrumentation used throughout the procedures,
* Provide team leadership skills when required
* Participation in on call duties.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
* RGN with current NMC registration or Registered ODP with current HPC registration.
* At least 2 years post qualification experience working in this discipline
* The willingness and flexibility to work as a team player
