Key Tasks of the role involve

* Understanding Swiss compliance rules and maintaining Partners Group's FINMA license as an asset manager of collective investment schemes in Switzerland and abroad
* Liaising with the Swiss regulator (FINMA) and the regulatory auditor and acting as the first point of contact for all Swiss compliance related issues
* Acting as the AML officer for Switzerland and handling all associated AML/KYC work, tools and manuals
* Acting as the Group AML officer, overseeing and contributing to Partners Group's worldwide AML/KYC efforts
* Creating, monitoring and updating of a Swiss regulatory control system which lists on-going regulatory obligations
* Monitoring regulatory developments in Switzerland and amending existing policies and procedures to align them with regulatory changes
* Reviewing and approving marketing documents, research articles and press releases
* Ad-hoc support as required by the General Counsel and the Head of Group Compliance

Key Requirements

* A legally trained compliance officer (approximately 3 to 5 years qualified).
* Experience with regulatory laws and regulations, including AML legislation and principles.
* Knowledge of Swiss FINMA rules are a pre requisite
* Fluency in German and English
* Service and quality orientated
* Good communication skills and goal orientated
* Role based in Switzerland with travel to Guernsey, Luxembourg and London to be expected
