THE ROLE:
* Establish and execute best-in-class Customs and Trade practices / processes and continuously improve techniques & method.
* Manage relationship with Irish Customs
* Monitoring of Free Trade agreements and reviewing new countries / products to be shipped under FTA
* Set up and manage all internal & external compliance responsibilities
* Act as a resource for Europe / AMEA Supply Chain Hub
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* At a minimum, a third level qualification in law or accounting or a suitable professional qualification with strong commercial business experience.
* 3 years experience in Customs and Trade Function within large multinational or consulting environment.
* Thorough understanding of EU Customs Regulations and workings of WTO and WCO.
* Good understanding of International Tax Models.
