Work as a DBA / database administrator for a unique financial hedge fund that offers highly competitive salaries, big bonuses and excellent benefits. You will work in a fun and family orientated environment where Friday after work drinks are a must and company outings are regular.
As a DBA / Database Administrator you will be responsible for supporting an advanced and highly technical environment and you will be working alongside some of the best software developers in the city. You do not need finance experience however experience with large datasets would be highly advantageous.
What do you need?
- Approximately 3-5 years commercial experience (this position is not designed for a Team Lead / Architect or Extremely Senior candidates).
- You must be a SQL Server DBA / Database administrator and you must rely heavily on T-SQL to carry out tasks.
- Experience with Replication, Mirroring and Log Shipping is important
- Scripting experience (Perl or PowerShell) is a big advantage but by no means essential
- General understanding of Windows platform would be advantageous but by no means essential.
- Minimal 2:1 degree from a leading University.
