Multi-utility organisation requires Electrical Design Coordinator on a permanent basis in Kent.

The Electrical Design Coordinator will report into the Operations Manager and shall be responsible for co-ordinating design activities for multi-utility projects (gas, electricity and water). This will entail liaising with the end client, local authorities, highway authorities and the Distribution Network Operator (DNO).

The Design Coordinator will make sure that all design and material activities relating to new electrical connections and networks are carried out properly, on time and to budget. The Design Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring that new connections are project managed and delivered. All projects are to be carried out in accordance with CDM regulations.

To be considered, previous experience as a Design Coordinator for new connections projects is a must, as is experience using AutoCAD. In addition, the Design Coordinator should be up to date with the latest CDM regulations, ideally with IOSH (or equivalent) and a relevant HNC, HND or degree (or equivalent).
