THE ROLE:
* Design Verification Testing including EMC testing.
* Component selection & testing.
* Technical report writing.
* Engineering Change Order generation.
* Test equipment/Hardware design and build.
* Liaising with Contract Manufacturers to build low quantities of PCBAs for engineering and sampling use.
* Design of electronic control systems for LED based products
* Layout and construction of mechanical components and printed circuit boards.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
* Honours Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
* 2 to 3 years? relevant experience of working in an electronics design company.
* Experience in power supply / converter design/ analogue design.
* Knowledge of communications protocols an advantage.
Candidates must have work authorisation for Ireland.
