Field Service Engineer, Precision Weighing

This Field Service Engineering role demands electronics or electromechanical skills as you will be responsible for installation, routine service and repair of a range of laboratory balances and industrial scales across a Yorkshire territory.

The company focuses on innovative products for research, drug discovery, and quality control laboratories, as well as selling quality systmes to pharmaceutical, chemical and food manufacturing industries.  You will be servicing products from the laboratory and industrial weighing division which focuses on high-precision scientific balances used in an academic or research setting through to large scale weighing systems for precious and expensive raw materials, batch control and other manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have a HNC/HND qualification (or similar) in an Electronics or Electromechanical Engineering discipline, ideally with knowledge and experience of laboratory or precision scientific instrumentation.  Previous experience with check weighing systems, industrial scales and laboratory balances would be a distinct advantage.

Living in the Southwest region (Bristol ideally)  or West Yorkshire (ideally Leeds/Bradford), you are flexible and happy to travel widely and provide cover for other engineers as needed. 

A base salary to £25K is on offer plus bonus and benefits.
