* Front End Developer with high level of software development expertise and experience.
The role is part of an exciting growth opportunity to join a group of talented software developers, front end developers and architects delivering of a range of Asset Management applications and services. This group of professionals are responsible for delivering technology innovation and providing the backbone of our Integration As A Service (IAAS) framework.
We require both skill sets within the team but we are highly focused on finding a candidate with talent and who is a right fit for the team at this exciting time of transformation. We would like to see candidates from both backgrounds and who are versatile to learning different things.
This opportunity will allow the candidate to be client facing as well as working with established technical teams. Therefore the candidate must display excellent communication skills and be able to confidently speak with their peers and clients alike.
Technology Skills & Experience required for either role:
* 5+ years experience in an appropriate development role
* Experience with Test/Behaviour Driven Development techniques
* Good experience of delivery using an agile development methodology
Technology Skills & Experience specific to Front End Developer role:
* Expert in JavaScript MVC/MV*
* Experience with JavaScript libraries like jQuery, DoJo, Ext-JS or similar
* Great HTML5 and CSS skills, with knowledge of LESS and/or SASS
* Experience with AMD architecture (Require.js, Common.js)
* Hands-on experience of WebSocket development (e.g. SocketIO, Sock.js, Kaazing)
* Hands-on experience of application frameworks such as Backbone, Spine, Angular
Other Skills and Personal Qualities:

* Ability to mentor and develop junior staff with evidence of strong leadership skills

Qualifications:
* The successful candidate will have a strong Computer Science related Degree or equivalent.
