International services company is seeking to recruit an experienced web application developer for the day-to-day management of the department's web infrastructure, systems and applications as well as designing, developing and maintaining the company's web applications and web sites.

Essential requirements for the role include the following:

*Relevant BSc degree in computer science or equivalent experience
*At least 3+ years of web application development experience in LAMP/WAMP environments with particularly strong Linux servers/LAMP/WHM administration experience
*Website development/design/master experience with online portfolio and experience with high-traffic websites
*Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML4 and HTML5
*Strong knowledge of CSS including CSS3 and CSS frameworks (Twitter Bootstrap, Blueprint, 960.gs, YUI)
*Strong knowledge of JavaScript including Ajax application development and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery,prototype, YIU, MooTools,etc)
*Experience with CMS systems in particular WordPress CMS, (installation, configuration, maintenance, theme and plugin development
*Experience with version control system, (git, subversion) & www.GitHub.com
*Experience with project-build systems, (phing, make, ant)
*Good understanding of DNS and domain names with experience with GoDaddy.com and other domain registrars
*Good understanding of SEO principles and techniques and familiar with internet marketing and affiliate programs
*Experience with mobile web development
*Good understanding of HTTPS, SSL and certificates
*Knowledge of Flash Actionscript
