We're currently recruiting for the vacancy of GENERAL PRACTITIONER on behalf of one of the UK's leading independent healthcare companies, to work at one of their facilities in Staffordshire. This facility operates a walk in clinic and registered patient list.


ROLE SUMMARY

DUTIES
* Provide clinical assessment of and diagnosis for patients and make timely decisions regarding future management.
* Provide support to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance/ Effectiveness activities.
* Provide high quality personal medical services in the context of general practice to the patients registered with the practice
* Provide on call and other services in practice as appropriate.
* Respond to medical/health problems presented by patients on the registered list including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate.
* Develop and maintain high levels of communication with patients and carers ensuring effective care delivery.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
* MBChB
* Inclusion in the GMC Register
* On a PCT Medical Performance List
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Knowledge of methods of developing clinical quality assurance and evidence based practice.
