We're currently recruiting for the vacancy of GENERAL RADIOGRAPHER (PART TIME) on behalf of a prestigious Hospital in the Hampshire region.

Large private hospital located in Hampshire run by one of the UK's leading healthcare groups. The hospital boasts the latest in medical technology, and first class facilities, allowing them to provide a very comprehensive range of procedures and services.

RADIOGRAPHER (PART TIME)

DUTIES
* Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiography examinations using a range of equipment, in line with guidelines and protocols.
* Interpret Clinicians requirements to determine the appropriate technique, and perform in accordance with best practice.
* Liaison with Radiologists to discuss patient caseload, examinations, pre and post care, results, issues etc.
* Communicate effectively with patients, carers and relatives to explain procedures, pre and post care, follow up procedures, radiation issues, appointments etc.
* Complete assessments and checks for allergies and other contra indications,
* Assist with the booking of patients.
* Monitoring and checking of equipment, and report any issues to relevant personell.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Degree (BSc Hons) in diagnostic radiology or equivalent
* Current HPC Registration
* Post graduate experience in imaging, with competence across a range of modalities.
* Competency across a range of imaging skills.
* Post-Graduate certification in at least one modality is desirable but not essential.
* Evidence of post registration development
