A Commodity Manager-Logistics is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based client. This role is part of the World Wide Procurement Team based in the EMEA region

THE ROLE:
* Responsible for the commercial and contractual relationship with the service providers.
* Manages commercial actions in line with the ?Foundation RFP Process?, where appropriate.
* Facilitates RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented.
* Ensures NDA, SOW's and Master Contracts are positioned appropriately before business is initiated.
* Develop and build Logistics commodity and industry knowledge to support and influence long-term strategy that meets future needs of Apple and convey a unified, consistent message to the supply base.
* Interface with the WW Logistics Procurement team and ensure they are kept updated on any issues, developments within EMEA

REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree qualified. Masters desirable
* Min 5 Years Experience in Supplier Management / Procurement role
* Logistics Supply base knowledge.
* Contract experienced and excellent negotiation skills.
