One of the UK`s largest Software Houses is looking for Graduate / Junior Software Developers to join their research and development team as Build Engineers. As a Graduate Software Developer you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of various build systems. You will be involved in implementing new products from the Research and Development teams and ensure all software is running smoothly.
You will have experience with OO programming languages such as Java and Python, as well as scripting skills in Perl, Shell etc. You will be comfortable on Linux and Windows OS and have experience with MySQL databases. This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Developer to expand their skills in an innovative environment, which the opportunity to work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Have a 2.1 or above from a Red-Brick University, backed up with strong A-levels (ABB)
- Have good working knowledge of Java, C, C++ or Python
- Be comfortable programming in a Windows or Unix environment, as well as experience of Databases
- Be passionate about technology and a confident communicator.
