In this position you will report to the CFO and will be a member of the Life Sciences Business Management team.

Role
* Leading and supervising the budgeting process in the Life Sciences Business
* Forecasting, planning, and analyzing business results
* Ensuring completion of correct monthly closing and timely monthly reporting
* Performing special and ad-hoc analysis as needed by CFO and Division Head
* Preparing financial data and presentations for Division Management and Board Meetings
* Leading LSB-, Finance- and IT-improvement projects
* Coordination and monitoring of accounting, controlling and month-end closing in SAP
* Contact with internal and external auditors, customers, distributors and suppliers
* Supervision of LSB Finance/Controlling
Requirements
*Strong leadership skills
* Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
* Strong organizational skills in relation to management of multiple projects with tight deadliness
* Strong strategic orientation and profound understanding of the business
* Ability to work in a multinational matrix organization
* Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
* Master degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
* CPA preferred along with exposure to SAP
* 7 years of related financial work experience with at least 5 in a global, matrix structured environment as Business Unit or Divisions Controller
* Solid IFRS knowledge
* Good know-how in project management
* Fluent German desired
