Are you experienced in Pre-clinical and clinical Pharmacokineticist and looking for a new opportunity to take the next step up in your career? My client, a medium sized Pharma of about 70 people is looking for a Head of Pharmacokinetics to join their team in Germany. You will be joining a motivated and friendly group of people where you will be encouraged to mentor more junior members of the team as well as be encouraged to develop yourself further professionally. My client is looking for an experienced scientist in the field of pre - clinical and clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacometrics. You will head up the Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacometrics team and be involved in a strategic position. You will be acting as a PK project representative in discovery and development, Phases I through III, development projects and provide PK/PD input as well as providing PK/PD input into regulatory documentation. You will be required to contribute to the pharmacokinetic characterization of project compounds in non-clinical and clinical studies and assist in the selection of development compounds with regards to an optimal PK/PD profile. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a step up into a stragetic and leadership position but still want a hands on approach to your work. You will need to be able to carry out PK data analysis and WinNonLin calculations yourself as well as help train junior staff.

Ideally you will have a PhD in a relevant scientific field and a number of years of experience within at pre-clinical Pharmacokinetics and ideally some experience of clinical PK. Knowledge of PK/PD data analysis techniques are desirable as well as experience with WinNonLin. English is essential and some German would be ideal.
