IT Support, 2nd line support, support analyst, helpdesk, Support Engineer, second line support, IT analyst.

Location: Monheim, Germany, Hitdorf, Baumberg, Rheinfeld, Worringen,

12 month contract

€25-35per hour

• You must speak fluent English and German
• Work as part of a Pan-European team, with responsibility for all aspects of Onsite Services in the Monheim, Germany Office and second level support for EMEA (Number of users 600+)
• You must have excellent user service and social skills, along with the willingness to help
• Desktop support - IT Technical Support
• You need to have a solid technical understanding, with excellent familiarity of the Microsoft product suite (XP and Win7)

Responsibilities:

• Repair of computers, hardware, and software - Break/fix/at user's desk site & centrally
• Replace computers with new, as part of PC Refresh Programme
• Liaise with vendors to facilitate repair of computers
• Installation of approved software
• Hardware Upgrades and swaps
• Updating of tickets using ServiceNow
• Conduct regular interaction with IT users using expert customer service skills and expert communication skills.
• Resolution of end user's incident and service requests in accordance with Client Services OLA expectations
• Perform advanced incident and problem analysis, troubleshooting, as required to resolve incidents and requests
• Remote support over the phone (resolution end-user incidents)
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Taking notes and compiling technical documentation
• Fluent spoken English and German language skills

Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or studying for this
• Excellent working knowledge required of Windows XP and wind7 operating system.
