Our global retail & travel group require a highly talented and experienced J2EE Architect to work out of their Kiev HQ. As a talented Java specialist you play a pivotal role in the design / architecture of new and existing applications, with a heavy eCommerce focus.
Your tasks will include analysis and design of our web services in accordance with users' demands, requirements, architecture principles and high quality standards. You will co-operate closely with architects, developers, BA's, configuration management, scrum masters, product owners, business analysts, testers and web designers in order to ensure the implementation of our new web-based solutions. As a Java Architect of our team we expect you to be able to coach and support developers and business analysts effectively, specify and implement solutions regarding future performance, maintainability and extensions. Furthermore, as part of the technical architecture team you will support the software development process.
Knowledge and experience required:
* At least 10 years experience in developing, maintaining and designing Web Enterprise Applications
* Strong knowledge of Spring MVC Framework / Hibernate
* Knowledge in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML/XSTL
* Knowledge about SQL/PLSQL, Data Model Design
* Experience in Agile/Scrum project management
* RESTFul Web Services (Jersey)
* Continuous Integration (Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Accurev)
* Unit Test Driven Development
* Cucumber/Selenium Tests
* GoF Design Patterns
* Service Oriented Architecture Design Patterns
* Fluency in English
* Knowledge of Russian language is an advantage
