Our client, a premium Enterprise Solutions company specialising within the Banking & eCommerce domain are looking for a number of high calibre Lead BlackBerry Developers to join an award winning application development team on an initial 6 month contract, with a day rate of up to £430.
You will be responsible for building the best apps in the mobile banking & payments industry. This is one of the hottest spaces in the mobile world & this is your chance to be a part of it. Your job will be to build amazing apps for a broad & exciting range of financial services client.
Responsibilities:
*Writing great apps.
*Working with the design teams.
*Working with the server teams.
Skills & Competencies
*Demonstrable experience of developing great mobile applications for Blackberry devices.
*Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
*Java programming language experience.
*Experience of developing multi-threaded networked BlackBerry applications.
*Experience developing applications using custom fields.
*Must have worked during all phases of project lifecycle.
*Strong MVC & Object Oriented programming skills, demonstrable through past work examples.
*Experience in REST based application development.
*Experience with JUnit & BUnit.
*Good working knowledge of SQLite.
*Good working experience with Ant/Maven.
*Experience with version control, eg. GIT, SVN, Mercurial, CVS.
