Medical Writer - Senior Medical Writer - Healthcare Communications - Oxford

Due to exciting expansion plans, experienced Medical Writers are now required for a leading medical communications agency based in Oxfordshire. As a global organisation, they produce outstanding educational campaigns on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry. With a specialist team, they apply their expertise in a variety of the therapeutic areas including oncology and cardiovascular, to respiratory and neurology.

As the Medical Writer, you will contribute to the development of new and existing accounts and will have the opportunity to develop manuscripts, posters and abstracts, as well as some commercial projects. With your strong experience, you will ensure that all projects are completed to a high editorial quality, on time and to budget. Additional responsibilities will involve you mentoring junior medical writers, assisting in the development of new business and attending/ presenting at client meetings (dependent on experience).

To be considered for this excellent Medical Writer opportunity, you should have some previous experience gained within an agency environment. In addition, you should have significant experience in the production of publication work. Knowledge or previous experience within neuroscience would be beneficial, but not essential for the role.
