Parallel Consulting are recruiting on behalf of an innovative & rapidly growing mobile media agency, based in Central London, who are recruiting for a talented & passionate Mobile Solutions Architect. You will work with globally recognisable brands, delivering some of the best apps on the market across all major platforms, using the latest technologies.
You will have a pivotal role within the technical department as the initial contact & owner for all mobile app & mobile web projects. You will provide technical input, ensuring the technical feasibility of a project, identifying the best-fit technology & ensuring your solution adopts best practise development methodologies, approach & execution.
A large part of your time will be spent working with clients & liaising with area eg. project management, IA, QA, creative & all levels of the development team, to ensure projects meet our client's technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
*Working closely with Senior Developers & the QA Manager.
*Understanding the client's mobile web & apps requirements.
*Identifying which technology approach best fits the client's technical needs.
*Breaking down large scale projects into manageable chunks.
*Identifying API / web service requirements.
*Understanding & identifying technology constraints.
*Explaining to developers what is required during project kick off.
Essential Experience:
*Significant programming ability with C#, Objective C or Java.
*At least 12 months of hands on mobile development experience across any mobile platforms.
*Ability to develop prototypes in iOS or Android.
*Strong experience with web infrastructure, eg. AWS, Azure, Scalability.
*Extensive experience developing technical solutions.
*Capable of adapting to new technologies & self-proficient in R&D.
*Capacity to liaise with Project Managers within the SDLC and act as Technical consultant.
*Has a strong and clear understanding of the technical delivery lifecycle.
Desirable:
*Experience working with JavaScript.
*Experience working in an agency environment.
*Worked with Agile development methodologies.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mobile architect to gain commercial experience as part of a large & talent development team in a mobile media agency environment. The right candidate will be friendly & focused, & able to work alone or as part of a project team.
In return my client can offer a basic salary of c. £55,000 a year plus generous holiday & the opportunity to progress quickly.
