Position Description:
You will be part of the mobile development team within our client European headoffice. You will work with eCommerce, Marketing and central merchandising to build, refine and improve mobile apps that are in use for both internal as external (customers) users. You understand UI design for mobile applications and you can translate business requirements into working prototypes and apps.
In the role of mobile developer you will:
* Play an active role in the development of mobile applications for our client (and some of our other brands)
* Interact with business users to understand requirements
* Translate these requirements into working prototypes or applications
* Work in a team along an Agile development process
* Pro-actively seek improvements in our existing portfolio of mobile applications
* Advise on new developments within the mobile industry
Position Requirements:
* HBO+ level of thinking acquired by study or experience.
* 2+ years of experience in design, development and implementation of native iPhone and/or iPad applications (Objective-C and iOS' Cocoa Touch Layer, Media Layer, Core Services Layer and Core OS Layer).
* 4+ years experience with (other) programming languages (e.g. C#, PHP or Java).
Experience with SQL (SQLite, T-SQL and/or MySQL). - Experience with C and/or C++ is a plus.
* Experience with git (GitHub) and/or SVN. - Good understanding of Jenkins (CI) and code signing is a plus.
* Basic understanding of Photoshop and HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Furthermore you are a good communicator and have the ability to transform ideas from business users into working mobile applications. You have the analytical skills to quickly analyze a problem and come up with solutions that fit our architecture. You can work independently but are also a great teamplayer. We are looking for a fulltime position and given the nature of our business and applications you are willing to travel and/or work odd hours when required.
