Parallel Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a worldwide social media brand who are urgently recruiting for Mobile Web Developers to join onsite at their fantastic London HQ.
They will pay between £45,000 & £65,000 plus benefits & can offer a fast-paced, high calibre & fun working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Control technical projects through from spec to delivery & beyond, including polishing an animation, optimizing performance & refining analytics.
*You'll be a vital cog in a highly experienced team of developers; you should be open to learning new things & able to pass on your knowledge to others.
*You'll be driving very high-profile projects that are vital to the brands continuing success, using cutting-edge open source technologies to build high performance systems.
*This role will suit a developer who is extremely hands-on, & is comfortable analysing specs, implementing designs, & writing code & test cases as part of a closely-knit team.
Essential:
*Strong degree in Maths, Computer Science or similar.
*Experience creating consumer-facing, mass market, networked high-volume / high-performance web sites / web apps.
*Advanced skills with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & AJAX on mobile devices.
*An impressive portfolio of live mobile web sites & web apps.
*Extensive experience of Mobile Web Development.
*In-depth knowledge of the capabilities & limitations of mobile browser implementations.
*Experience with JavaScript tools, e.g. web inspectors, compressors.
*Knowledge of industry standard frameworks.
*Enthusiasm for and familiarity with Agile & Scrum.
*Some experience programming with Java.
