We're currently recruiting for the vacancy of ONCOLOGY TELEPHONE TRIAGE NURSE on behalf of a prestigious Hospital in the Greater London region.

ONCOLOGY TELEPHONE TRIAGE NURSE
* Working as a telephone nurse advisor, providing clinical assessment and triage for cancer patients who are currently undergoing treatment.
* Using a recognised telephone triage protocol.
* Giving advice, information and reassurance to patients.
* This is an 'Out of Hours' service - evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
* NMC registered Nurse with at least 3 years specialist experience with oncology patients.
* Experience in chemotherapy administration.
* Post registration courses in Chemotherapy / Oncology Nursing desirable but not essential.
* Good telephone manner.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
