Based in Salisbury the company specialise in Neuro rehabilitation and are currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist to treat complex neurological cases.
The home provides a complete range of inpatient medical care and rehabilitation services to adults who are living with severe physical, cognitive or behavioural impairments, resulting from long-term neurological conditions including acquired or traumatic brain injury.
Your role will require you to-
*To develop and implement Physiotherapy services within the companies Healthcare Services, in conjunction with the Lead Physiotherapist.
*To maintain protocols for all aspects of the Physiotherapy Service in line with the Chartered Society's Core Standards and those specific to individuals with acquired brain injury.
*To support and manage, on a day-to-day basis, junior staff and others who may be required to carry out programmes of physiotherapy as designed by the Physiotherapist.
Your duties will include -
*To develop and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with individual Service Users and so maximise their potential.
*To respect the confidentiality and individuality of Service Users.
*To develop and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the inter-disciplinary team.
*To lead the development, implementation and continuation of an effective Respiratory Physiotherapy Service.
*To provide initial and on-going training, support and supervision of appropriate staff involved with the Service User across campus in the techniques of respiratory management.
To be considered for this role you must have proven experience treating neurological patients, be currently registered with the HCPC, and have a developed CPD folder. Overseas applicants must have a minimum 1 years experience in the UK.
