Based in Salisbury the company specialise in Neuro rehabilitation and are currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist to treat complex neurological cases.
The home provides a complete range of inpatient medical care and rehabilitation services to adults who are living with severe physical, cognitive or behavioural impairments, resulting from long-term neurological conditions including acquired or traumatic brain injury.
Your role will require yo to -
*To contribute to the provision of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation service for people with complex neuro-disability.
*To manage a clinical caseload using evidence based and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intervention.
*To demonstrate a proactive attitude towards the acquisition of more complex skills and knowledge in order to develop competence as a Senior II Physiotherapist.
*To supervise and support physiotherapy assistants and to provide them with education and mentorship via regular informal training sessions
*To supervise and support Physiotherapy students, and providing support and leadership for junior staff.
Your duties will include -
*To demonstrate, and apply, a more in depth level of understanding of the core management principles for the high dependency Service User.
*To instigate, monitor and modify client centred goals in response to the changing needs of the individual.
*To work effectively in collaboration with other members of the inter-disciplinary team (IDT).
*To carry out effective and productive joint assessments and rehabilitation with other members of the IDT.
To be considered for this role you must have proven experience treating neurological patients, be currently registered with the HCPC, and have a developed CPD folder. Overseas applicants must have a minimum 1 years experience in the UK.
