THE ROLE:

A Presales Solutions Lead with demonstrable retail sector experience gained in a Tier 1 or 2 IT Services / Outsourcing environment is required by our client, a successful and established IT Services provider based in London.

This high profile pre sales role will see the successful candidate:

- Working closely with the Sales Team in new account acquisition strategies.
- Engage with prospects, customers and work with offshore teams and partners in developing a compelling and winning solution as per expectations
- Design winning solutions and unique services propositions for outsourcing deals including Applications, Infrastructure and Business Process Outsourcing.
- Develop best in class proposals for IT outsourcing deals across multiple disciplines namely Applications (Design & Build, Buy, Transform, Support), Infrastructure (Change Management, Build, Support and Host) and BPO Services (Transition, Operation and Optimisation) through consultative selling approach.
- Take ownership of developing solutions, target operating models for outsourcing deals and ability to build alternative commercial models for outsourcing scenarios.
- Support the sales team through opportunity life cycle, including proposal defence and bid and solutions presentations.
- Carry out regular research on competition landscape, solutions and services with a view to developing winning solutions with unique value proposition.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for the Pre Sales Lead role you will:
- A strong background and relevant experience - covering off-shore, global delivery model, Outsourcing, Managed Services and have extensive exposure to the retail sector and in working with retail clients.
- Be self-confident, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have an ambition to succeed
- BS in Computer Science, Software engineering, MIS or Information Technology is preferable.
- Be able to demonstrate high-level appreciation in enterprise product applications and services engagements.
- Consultative selling experience will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated ability to keep abreast with the new and the emerging technologies
- Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. S/he will spend a good part of his/her time in verbal one-on-one and one-to-many situations discussing a technical approach to solving a customer issue.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience of managing large bids, and structuring large integrated deals across applications, infrastructure and Business Process Outsourcing in the retail sector
