Senior Director, Principal Investigator - Senior Clinical Research Physician - Manchester - Cheshire - Clinical Research

A growing global Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) based in the Manchester area currently has opportunity available for a Senior Director, Principal Investigator to join their expanding team.

As a Senior Director, Principal Investigator you will be working mainly on phase I studies, within a range of therapeutic areas. Your overall position will be to ensure that the studies are conducted in an ethical manor and to the highest medical standards in accordance with good pharmacovigilance practices. You will be responsible for:

*Ensuring continuous medical cover is provided.
*Direct line managing more junior team members.
*Providing mentorship and coaching.
*Providing on-call medical support.
*Training the project team in particular therapeutic areas, when needed.
*Contributing any medical input into the clinical and statistical reports.
*Presenting to potential clients when appropriate.
*Building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
*Publishing articles.

Ideal candidates for this Senior Director, Principal Investigator role will hold a medical degree. You should also have previous experience as a Senior Clinical Research Physician within a CRO or Pharmaceutical company carrying out a Principal Investigator's role. You should also be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
