Product marketing manager is a person who is responsible for promoting support programs and offer sales support solutions. They work closely with the Product Management function in the business, but sit and report to sales and marketing. They fulfill the inter-relationship between the two departments and act as a liaison to help influence product development, whilst creating the Sales and Marketing go-to-market strategy.
As a key role in a fast-paced and dynamic organization, this post calls for someone who has strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate needs to display confidence, enthusiasm and easily establish rapport with all stake-holders. Equally important in this role are strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to present and explain technical data in a manner that engages the audience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identifying the market needs and opportunities in conjunction with Sales
• Product positioning in the market, including but not limited to: features, benefits, competitive analysis, product efficacy
• Procurement of materials for sales department (including cheat sheets, information sheets on product benefits etc)
• Evaluation and interpretation of customer feedback and customer satisfaction reports
• Generating sales presentations and proposals
• Conducting product launching events
• Market development and competitor price analysis and sales techniques, including the setting of MSRP/MRRP equivalent and contribution to promotional pricing techniques/programs
• Conducting the market research and interpretation of the research results.

Knowledge/Experience Requirements:
• A degree in marketing or business management;
• A minimum of two years experience as product manager in any marketing department;
• Proven record in product management with a minimum 2 years of sales and marketing experience;
• Proficient in MS Office applications;
• Have strong knowledge of sales and marketing;
• Project and Data Management Skills;
• Possess good research skills to carryout market research, combined with analytical skills to quickly interpret and respond to data;
• Should have the technical knowledge where possible to understand the detailed elements of the product.
