Rolling Stock Production Manager Job for an experienced Engineering Manager with knowledge of UK Rolling Stock

Salary level c£40,000 per annum plus benefits

We have been asked to find an experienced Production Manager with a Traction and Rolling Stock background and knowledge of

Train assembly build standards
Lean Manufacturing and Production Engineering processes
Railway IT Systems such as SAP, Ravers, Trust and Gemini.
Railway Depot standards
Railway Industry Operations Rules and Regulations.
Network Rail Rules and Regulations.
Quality and safety systems in the Rail sector

In this key role you will enjoy a varied workload and will be relied upon to:

Support operational activities to achieve timescales and targets.
Produce Rolling Stock Train Maintenance programmes
Identify areas to improve business performance, reduce Life Cycle costs and improve reliability
Support operational activities to achieve timescales and targets.
Identify areas to improve business performance, reduce Life Cycle costs and improve reliability
Help identify and implement process improvements on Maintenance and Service programmes
Provide and specify KPIs
Gather data and resolve performance issues
Interrogate SAP to identify trends
Ensure work is completed on time and to budget
Assist in identifying training and supporting training of delivery
