An outstanding opening to join one of the foremost CRO's globally as a Manager in their SAS Programming team. The role will see you build a team of SAS programmers around you from graduate through to more senior programmers. With ambitious plans for you to line manage a team with tens on members, this role is ideal for managers looking to make the step into senior manager roles in the future.

Based in picturesque Wales, you'll have unspoilt sandy beaches and dazzling countryside on your doorstep. As a departmental manager you'll be responsible for the following tasks:

* Management and organisation of multiple client projects, ensuring the delivery on time, budget and to a high quality.
* Tracking of budgets and other KPIs on a departmental level.
* Management and development of your own programming team to ensure professional and personal development targets are attained. Including training, supervision and mentoring of direct reports.
* Primary point of contact for clients, project teams and other departments for SAS Programming issues.
* Participate in client meetings to support the creation and ongoing management of new business.

Ideally my client is looking for a candidate with 5 or more years of Statistical Programming experience in the CRO sector. They will have project managed programming tasks on global clinical trails, whilst also having experience of mentoring and supporting more junior SAS Programmers.
