Based in Doncaster the company provides flexible, specialist residential services and schools. They aim to offer the best possible care, education and vocational opportunities for young people and adults, often with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including behaviour which may challenge. Their team of behaviour analysts make a key contribution to their capacity to provide effective person-centred support for the people they support.

They are now recruiting for an experienced Behaviour Analyst to lead their ABA team providing support for their services for children and adults in South Yorkshire. Their ABA team work with other members of their multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic input to the people they support and consultancy to staff, and provision of training for support staff in approaches to positive behaviour support is central to the team's work. There is scope for involvement in service development and research.

They are looking for a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with substantial experience of working with people with autism and/or intellectual disabilities who present severely challenging behaviours and who has experience of supervision and/or management of professionally qualified staff in this field.

The post offers an opportunity to contribute to this expanding service area and have a real impact on the lives and outcomes of the people who use the service. You should be willing to practice as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, supporting people to increase their independence and achieve their personal goals. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of evidence based assessment and interventions as part of a client based approach.
