SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a Senior IT Manager to join a specialist organisation in Berkshire. The successful Senior IT Manager will be joining an existing team, and automatically have 4 direct reports beneath him/her. The Senior IT Manager will be required to manage and develop the Information Technology functions of the organisation and ensure systems are constantly working at an optimal level for all levels of the business. The Senior IT Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing new systems and technologies, and cover a wide ambit of responsibility.

The Senior IT Manager´s responsibilities:

* Work under the Chief Information Officer, ensuring the organisation's IT Infrastructure services are working at an optimal level
* Ensure the IT Systems are secure and the company is within Data Protection legislation.
* Manage Telecommunications, Development and Implementation of new systems as well as all IT Hardware, Software and maintenance.
* Work with other areas of the business to ensure the IT service is delivered accordingly to SLAs
* Be responsible for the organisation's IT policies and procedures, as well as change management
* Be responsible for IT and other project management

The Senior IT Manager´s experience and skills:

* Prior experience managing an IT Team
* Experience planning and developing IT Infrastructure
* Excellent Team Leader and mentoring skills, must be able to lead by example
* Prior experience within a call center environment
* Knowledge of the following:

* SQL Server (administration and query writing)
* Citrix/Windows Remote Desktops Services
* Virtualisation Concepts and Technologies
* Backup and Replication Technologies
