This is an opportunity for a Software QA Engineer with IP networking experience to join a truly global communications solutions provider, and help to design and develop one of the World's leading internet router products.
As an internet protocol test engineer you will be responsible for delivering high quality software for the service router product family. This will involve liaising closely with hardware and software developers, and devising creative ways to find software bugs.
In this role you will become an expert in a number of specific internet areas and get a solid overview of all the functionality within an internet router.
Desired Skills & Experience:
*Experience of routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP)
*Knowledge of Linux and scripting languages such as TCL, Python & Perl
*Experience in IP network testing and troubleshooting
*Familiarity with networking test tools (IXIA, Spirent, Agilent, etc)
*Relevant degree
