Leading designer of innovative security systems located in Herefordshire is currently looking for an Experienced Technician to join their highly successful team.
Candidate's specification:
-Several years' experience as technician in R&D environment.
-Hands-on skills essential: soldering (down to 0402 & QFP), product assembly, wiring/cable assembly, metalwork (e.G. Drilling, tapping, filing heatsinks).
-Experience of ordering and kitting components for PCB assembly.
-Experience of performing PCB tests - following test specifications and using bench equipment.
- Drafting skills highly desirable; cable drawings, basic mechanical drawings, schematics (following guidance from engineer), PCB layout.
- Good team working attitude absolutely essential - must be able to work dynamically on highest priority tasks.
This position is commutable from: Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Ross on Wye.
