Wheel Lathe Operative Job for experienced fitter with experience of using a railway wheel lathe in a rolling stock maintenance depot.

Salary level c£20,000 per annum plus Benefits

Commutable from Ashby De La Zouch, Ashbourne, Burton Upon Trent Chesterfield, Derby, Doncaster, Grantham, Leicester, Lichfield, Loughborough, Sheffield.

To be suitable for this role you will need

Experience of using a railway wheel lathe to re-profile Train wheels
A background in a Rolling Stock Maintenance environment
To have maintained wheel lathe and other plant
A recognised technical Qualification
Clean driving licence
PC skills, including all Microsoft software packages.
