Company: Our client is a successful company with over 10 years experience; they have become one of the best known names within their industry. They attribute their immense success to maintaining customer satisfaction by always meeting or surpassing customer expectations. One of their offices is based in London from where they support their core markets. Their London operation manages sales, customer service and finance administration. They are now looking for a Portuguese speaking trans-creation manager for their office in London.

Role: The trans-creation account manager is responsible for managing day-to-day world class trans-creation projects for the company`s clients, developing good relationships with their clients, briefing local copywriters on new projects, managing and building trusting relationships with local copywriters to adapt copy and proofread artwork, establishing and managing project deadlines and budgets, working closely with HR department, ensuring accuracy and reliability of copy and the consistency of messaging for the brands across all media and markets, ensuring the best quality for each project by using the best proofreaders and freelancers and liaising internally with the rest of the production team on the given project.

Skills: The ideal candidate must speak fluent Portuguese and have a good level of English. Previous experience with project management, adaptation, localisation and Tran-creation in a Tran-creation or advertising agency or similar is ideal. The candidate must be flexible, highly motivated, enthusiastic, have the ability to develop relationships quickly and work in a team and possess excellent communicational skills both verbally and written. The candidate should have good IT skills; along with experience with CAT tools such as trados would be an advantage. A language related degree would be beneficial.
