German Procurement and Buyers role in Bucharest

Company: Our client is one of the world`s leading BPO companies. They have developed support & business services in Finance, Accounting, Legal, Procurement and Sales for major US & International companies. Their clients include Fortune 500 and multi-nationals from across the globe that have outsourced their Finance & Accounting functions to reduce cost and improve business productivity.

Role: A new position has been created as part of their German Purchasing team. This team is dedicated to group purchasing and procurement activities and supplier management within the business. The position involves implementing group purchasing strategies, identifying global suppliers, negotiating orders, administering and drafting contracts and purchase orders, managing the supplier network and preparing and consolidating quotations.

Skills: The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years procurement, purchasing, buyer experience or supplier management skills in an International environment. Candidates with an interest in project management, process optimization, finance and controlling and the ability to manage an international network of global suppliers are preferred. In addition you will need fluency in German with excellent English.

The position is based in their EMEA SSC in Romania but will require travel. The offer includes an excellent salary, flights to Romania, Hotel accommodation initially, housing allowance to cover a 2 bedroom apartment (permanent) and the opportunity to work for a fast growing global leader in this field.
