A qualified Chartered Surveyor is required to negotiate on behalf of this London Borough to a specific number of lease renewals and rent reviews pertaining to the Council`s retail portfolio.

In respect of lease renewals you will carry out rental valuations on the boroughs owned shops and instruct lawyers to serve the relevant notices and monitor the legal process, facilitating cases to completion.

In respect of rent reviews you will carry out rental valuations, negotiate with tenants, prepare rent review memorandums and successfully complete the rent review process. Third party submissions will not be required for this project work.

The project involves approximately 30 rent reviews, a small number of which go back to 2009. Rental valuations have already been carried out on those reviews with review dates prior to 2010.

The project involves approximately 40 lease renewals.

You will be RICS qualified with Rent and Lease valuation experience.
