Our Client, based inSouth Dublin, is a leading Multinational Software company, has an excellent opportunity for Data Analyst / SQL Report Writer. This is an initial 6 month contract with a likelihood of extension.

The Role is to primarily run the VMI (Vendor Management inventory) process and the ISP (Information Search Process) Metric. The key responsibilities will be process management, query resolution and escalation, data analysis and report generation.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage the SQL Sever 2008 Database
• Write SQL queries to generate reports
• Plan, manage and execute on the weekly the Vendor Managed Inventory process.
• Develop Reports and drive continual process improvements in the client’s databases.
• Manage the weekly assortment updates from the Key Vendor Management inventory Accounts.
• Resolve and report on queries that arise from the weekly VMI and ISP processes.
• Calculate and publish the ISP Metric on a monthly basis.
• Analyse the ISP results and provide feedback to the Key Account Managers.
• Responsible for generating key reports such as channel inventory reports and excess inventory reports
•  Drive process improvements in the SQL database used to manage the system.
• Support the Senior Inventory Analyst in all aspects of their role, including process improvement opportunities.
• Execute SAP R/3 reports on a daily basis.

Knowledge Required:

• SQL Database knowledge and experience.
• Strong Excel and analytical abilities.

Desirable skills required:

• SAP R/3 knowledge and experience
