Software Test (automaton, localization) required for a leading Multinational Software company based in South Dublin . This is an initial 5 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension thereafter

Job Responsibilities

Writes test cases and run/ write test automation scripts.

Performs detailed analysis of test results and adjusts test cases accordingly.

Works with developers and/or program managers to troubleshoot failures or triage to the appropriate level

Requirements:

BA/BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.

Experience working with Microsoft technologies is essential.

Experience in localization testing.

Knowledge of, and experience in, black box software testing principles.

Virtualization including Hyper-V

MS Operating systems and features 7

Demonstrated ability to define and use common terms and concepts for at least one operating system and environment required.

Strong Windows based debugging skills of both Applications and Operating Systems

Proficient in Windows based scripting languages (Powershell, VBScripts, Batch Files, etc).

Desirable:

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification in Windows or relevant area a plus.
