This is a unique and exciting opportunity for developers with experience of C# / .Net to take part in a Greenfield development of an application utilizing the latest Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing web application solutions to meet the evolving requirements of customers and new product development.
• Working as part of the product development team ensuring product requirements are coded, tested and delivered to the highest standards.
• Play a key role in ensuring high quality code and solutions are delivered by the product development team
• Working with Product Marketing and Business Analysis’s to define product requirements and resolve issues relating to use cases and implementation.

Requirements:  

• Third level Degree in Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong C# / .Net knowledge
• 3-4 years of .NET/ASP Development, Web Services
• 3-4 years post qualification experience in a software development role with experience of all aspects of the development life cycle, preferably on enterprise scale systems
• Knowledge of Web Technologies (HTML, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, WS-Security etc)
• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, an ability to understand complex problems and generate appropriate pragmatic technical solutions
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2005/2008
• Exposure to Agile Development Methodologies

Desirable

• Asp.Net MVC 3 (Razor)
• Unit Testing
• Database design and performance optimization.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Azure
