PHP Developer needed to join a team responsible for the creation of cutting edge product for managing gig and event promotion ticket sales within a social media environment.

PHP Developer Responsibilities:

• Development, deployment and maintenance of the company web application.
• Report to, and advise the development manager on all technical & engineering issues.
• Provide technical input on the choice technology, tools and methods.
• Take an active role in helping the engineering department grow and mature.

PHP Developer Requirements

• A thorough knowledge and working experience of modern software engineering practices especially as applied to web development.
• Experience of integrating eCommerce and online payment solutions.
• Experience of web development using a PHP based application framework or CMS.

Technologies:

• Web: PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery,Ajax, SOAP, XML-RPC, MVC, CMS (e.g. Drupal/Wordpress)
• Software Engineering: UML, Test Driven Development.
• Environment: Experience of Azure (desirable)
