Exclusive to Allen Recruitment - ETL Data conversion Engineer (Oracle) Permanent Close to N3 Dublin, Ireland. Our client is an expanding software company that develops a number of sophisticated products which are used by clients globally (UK , Europe, North America ).

Our client is looking for an ETL Data Conversion Engineer who can work with their customers to ensure that data from their Legacy systems are accurately and efficiently converted to our client's new system.

This is a great opportunity for a Data conversion engineer to leverage their ETL skills. The developer may also be responsible for data validation, data cleansing, data transformation and calculations, as well as writing and scheduling the load jobs.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design the system components for the extract/transform or conversion of data from source systems to our database schemas.

Design system components which reconcile and audit the results of the extract/transform or conversion of data from source systems to our client's databases.

Construct the extract/transform, transfer and audit components of a data warehousing

Essential Skills required

Experience working with Oracle technologies

Experience with other databases eg SQL Server
