Do you have 3+  years experience in System Integration Testing, Non Functional Testing & User Acceptance Testing and worked in the Insurance / financial sector? 

Our international insurance client based in Dublin south is looking for a Senior Software Tester Analyst for a 6 month contract with view to extension. You will work closely with the Release Manager, Development Team & Business Analysts in both defining the test criteria for the solution in question and in ensuring the solution is fit for purpose.

Some Responsibilities will include:

• Define and plan automated regression testing.
• Work with and lead offshore QA team, enabling full participation and productivity from offshore team.
• Ensure detailed test plans (System Integration Test, Non Functional Test & User Acceptance Test) and definition are defined and documented to facilitate effective testing, across the solution Infrastructure, Applications, Data elements and operational and support Processes.
• Execute and manage test execution.
• Perform effective status reporting as required.
• Co-ordination of test planning and test case input by other team members when workload requires multiple parallel test activity streams.
• Interrogation and verification of test case data on the application database (writing SQL queries against the database).

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

• Experience in utilisation in formal testing methods
• Experience in business and application knowledge in insurance or financial systems
• Experience in all areas of the Software Life Cycle.
  
  
  
  • Knowledge / Experience in the some of the following
    
    
    
    • Quality Centre
    • Sybase, SQL
    • Good excel, pivot tables, lookups, working with complex data volumes  
    • IBM Infosphere & Information Analyzer is an advantage, though not necessary
    
    
  
  

Technical knowledge

• Test Planning, Estimation, UAT – must have
• Performance testing experience, Load Runner etc.

Platform knowledge

• ETL, data warehousing, Sybase, DB2, IBM Infosphere
